Sorry I honestly have no idea whenever I try and take one it comes out all black. I think what you have to do is hit alt. and enter to make it windowed mode, and then you can take one with prnt scrn. Never tried it myself but its been said to work, as full screen doesnt.

I just press PrintScreen, screenshot saves in Program Files\Piranha Games\Mechwarrior Online\USER\Screenshots

Yeah, fullscreen screenshots seem to be broken like that. They just come out with the MWO screen all black.
Alt+Enter to jump from fullscreen to window mode, then take the screenshot.
Mind = blown
All my screenshots are there, lol... I always just pasted my screenshot into Paint after pressing prtscrn.

Somebody give this computer warlock a candy; I didn't know that even though I've been playing since closed beta.
You can also use a free-for-personal-use program like Fraps http://www.fraps.com/download.php to get screenshots. However, the free version of Fraps will only save out BMPs, and doesn't play nice with MWO all the time when it switches from the mechbay client to the actual game.

They just implemented Screenshots with PrintScreen a few patches ago, so no one can blame you for not knowing about it
