the old formula was:
Kills × 20 + Kill Assist × 10 + (Damage Done – Team Damage) ÷ 15 + Wins × 20 + Loss × 10 + Survive × 20 + Dead × 10
the problem with this formula is:
IT RESULTS THAT A KILL STEALER PLAYER IS BETTER THAN ONE THAT DOES 1000 DAMAGE BUT ONLY A PAIR OF KILLS, because some other mechs kill stealed some mechs to him.
example: player A and player B both survive and win
Player A does 7 kills, 3 assists and 500 damage, because he kill stealed very much.
Player B does 1 kill, 7 assists and 1050 damage (yes, it is possible)
Player A earns 7*20+3*10+500/15+20+20= 240 points
Player B earns 1*20+7+10+1050/15+20+20= 200 points
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR
i ask for a formula more related to match score, that is really related to damage done.
kills are about luck, damage done is about how much you hit your enemy
I WOULD ASK FOR A TOTAL REBALANCE FOR WHEN IS THE KILL AWARDED, but i know that it is too much
the kill should be awarded to the player that did the best damage to the part that caused the destruction of the target, even if someone ealse finishes the target, not to the final ***** that kill steals with a final shot.
anyway
suggestion for the formula
kills x 10 + assist x 5 + ( damage done - damage that you did to your allies) /5
and stop, because many times winning or surviving does not depend from you, but depends from the team.
if you have to base your formulas on kills, and now it is so, pls re do the kill system, because now
YOUR BEST 10 GAMES ARE THE 10 GAMES IN WHICH YOU WERE SO GOOD TO DO 4 KILLS FOR YOUR OWN AND
SO
DAMN
LUCKY AND *******
TO STEAL ADDITIONAL 4 KILLS
this is completely unfair; change the kill award script or remove the importance of kills form the formula in the tournment

not remove, but weigh it different...kills are clearly too heavily weighed in tournaments and force stupid "i wanna be on front, aaahhh go out of the way" gameplay... well most people play that way anyway, but i wouldn´t especially reward it...
