I recognize that there will a weight class implementation soon, but with PGI's notoriety for coding, I'm hopeful at best for a fix.
Meanwhile, I will open this thread to everyone who has experienced pure Matchmaking bullcrap. I know fast games are great, but THESE kinda games? Come on, no amount of piloting can help you with these kinda odds.
This has occured every 3rd game or so, and so far I've been learning the hard parts of life amongst the multiple Metagauss/PPC setups on multiple mechs taking out 3 of my greenmates before i can tell them to stay in cover until they get close.
In... the meantime... I will be flanking in my Jager(Pacific Rim, anyone?) and getting assists because i have over 300 ping on average.

There is no MM, that is the problem. People getting pulled up into a higher ELO bracket, with no weight balancing, is where we're at.
Too many times, I've dropped in say a medium. I'm the lightest mech in the match, all others being heavies or assaults. So now, instead of being a combat support mech, I'm he who runs back to base to stop the cap. Meanwhile, the other team has 5-6 lights and fast mediums, and are running around like bees.
Why we haven't seen a priority on a weight balancing fix is beyond me.
