Reviewing one of my old posts from August 15th. "The 300 STD is very good on anything above sixty tons. You can also do a direct swap out with a 360XL. I do this frequently as I only have one 360XL to share between three Quickdraws and two Victors."

I didn't dream this. I have clear memories of swapping a 300 for a higher rated XL without having to alter my heatsink or armor values.

I'm quite sure the Victors and Quickies can still use 360XLs.

Then again I don't own that garbage known as a quickdraw, but I know for a fact the Victor can use the 360XL

300 Standard is 25 tons.

You can swap into a 365XL @ 24.5 tons or lower engine.

I know I am capable of mounting the said engine. I just want to know if the stats were altered secretly and if so, when.

I don't think they changed because changing one would cause a cascade effect where all the others need to change to keep the progression. But I can't say that I wrote them down back in the day to compare to now.

you could always fit an XL360 in those quickdraws...doesn't help the mech, you'll die quick anyway but it fits.

I have unearthed additional evidence. All evidence points to the 360 getting heavier.

I like an AC-20 with 2 LLas + 2 LRM5 and an AMS. I also like my 360XL gauss brawler but the extra speed seems to get me away from the rest of the team which results in death.

Before they nerfed gauss I was still using this loadout but with a 350XL.
Check this out as well. I haven't altered my quickdraws in months but my original smurfy build has one additional heatsink and max armor. The one in my mechbay does not.

After trying a series of very disappointing missile builds I have come to the conclusion that Large Lasers are the best weapons. My average XP and C-bill amounts are more than double my other builds. Plenty of heat capacity and speed allow you to tear up most medium and heavy mechs, especially dakka builds as rocking back and forth on the throttle throws their aim off quite noticeably.

My Massive Engine chart says a 300 std is 25 tons and a 360 xl is 23.5 tons. That chart was made mid last month.

Engine changes have happened... but that seems to have gone unannounced somewhere along the line. Perhaps smurfy has an idea as to when.

I remember that the 375XL had the same tonnage as a 380XL (which shouldn't have happened in the first place) and this is not the case anymore.

There is an adjustment, and someone that is vigilant about the engine tonnages needs to look into this further.

According to smurfy's, the last time the 375XL engine was the same as the 380XL engine was in mid-July:

The changes started in the August patch (in preparation for the KTO).
