I'm running into invisible walls and obstacles all over river city in my Atlas. I haven't had the problem with any other chassis, but in the Atlas I'll try to walk over a guardrail by the road, or even down an empty street, and be brought up short as though I walked on a cliff. It makes the Atlas nearly unplayable when the issue occurs, because I end up trapped in certain map areas between the enemy and my invisible mime prison.

Is anyone else having similar issues, and does anyone have a workaround?

I've had issues similar to this in other mechs. Mostly slow mechs. It's probably very tiny areas of greater than 45 degree incline and we're not fast enough to speed over them. The best you can do is send in screen shots or coordinates of problem areas you run into on a case by case basis.

Yeah, Support says this is a known issue - I just missed it when I looked over the forums before posting. =)

The issue was that I couldn't duplicate the issue in the Proving Grounds, or in other matches - I suspect it's related to the whole hit registration thing, but that's only a vague suspicion.

before one of latest patch that map was pretty cool. Then someone wanted to add more details such as statues, smaller rocks and bunch of other stupid things that only heat up your GPU. All those stupid obstacles stops u when u run over it. They are almost unseenable from any assault and heavy mech. I stuck all the time with my stalker, victor, quickdraw, catapult and jeg.

Even worse, some small obstacles have slopes that are more % than u can climb with assaults or heavies. Software simply reckognize them as unpassable mountains no matter the size of only 1 foot.

With each patch, game becomes different... like a new game. Minor obstacles acts like huge mountains!
