Started out on High settings and normally run 60 fps to 25 in the heat of battle with bunches of mechs. Now down to Low settings and still get dropped sometimes. Machine guns and lots of stuff going on seem to be the culprit.

Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which? No message
Where in the game or menus did the crash occur? In game, game hangs with repeating sound. Was similar to memory problem but at least I could alt-tab and kill process out in previous version. Now it just hangs and I have to restart computer. Happens much more frequently after patch
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? Nothing different in settings from before in terms of settings. Except turned off 3pv detaults
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? NA
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? No
What are your System specs?

Same as last patch, freeze upon seeing an atlas die. After waiting for about 1 minute, everything started moving again, but half the mechs were running in place and there was a long string of "so and so disconnected" or had killed themselves. After about 10 seconds of that it froze again and did not recover until I killed it from task manager.

I see more client crashes of various kinds since the last patch. The launcher freezes, the client freezes during a match the hard (no response in Windows) or soft (process can be killed) way. A few minutes ago, my client closed itself during a match for no apparent reason and without any error message -- that was a first. Specs:

The game crashes in game since the last patch often to desktop. Watched that five teammembers disconected at the end of the loading screen of a map. Only in my team we had those ctd the enemy team had none. After 2 min of playing my game crashes too.

From time to time the game stucks in game with alt + tab you can switch back to desktop and it starts working again. This problem was also there before the last patch.

The same goes for some friends of mine we have all different computer specs, rigs and video cards.

Need a fix for that problem

Game Crashed randomly for me, i need to restart Computer.
Sometime i can play some Rounds without a crash, then it crash often...so i cant see anything what makes the crashes.
Im running Win7 64Bit, Dualcore, 3GB DDR with a Ati HD6770...Assasins Creed 3 worked for hours in High Settings for me.
Since my Computer is wathercooled, my max. Temp is 46 Celsius and system wont get heat or anything like that.
Have latest Drivers and all is fine, only wen playing this game it randomly Crashed.

game freezes at random 30 to 60 sec after roundstart on non trial mechs but as of last night MWO freezes with in 30sec after round starts on all mechs

How far up in the development queue is the ability to rejoin a battle after a crash? With the amount of crashes this game has that feature is extremely important.

For the time beeing... I would really appreciate if crashed battles didn't register in your stats. I'm sick and tired of my W/L, K/D and dmg/battle ratings getting ruined by battles that crash before I get to land one shot.

I was finally getting good at piloting SDR-5K with only 4xMG, but today I've been crashing almost ten times in two hours. Sometimes it takes a minute to crash, sometimes more than half an hour.
And crash to desktop happens with no error messages.
As far as I can tell, it could be something with my sounds also, they sometimes mixup, shatter, then start again fresh. (It's much better nowadays, last year sounds disappeared at times and I had to restart). I'm using external audiocard (TonePortUX2) with ASIO drivers. MG RATATATATATATA!!!!!

Q6600 @ 3.2GHz
4GB of DDR2-1066
HD6950 2GB
Win7-64
(Oh, and steam overlay.. didn't try to take it out)

Since last patch, i get those "game freezes -> switch out of game -> switch into game -> game unfreezed" a lot more frequent, i think it happens every 2nd or 3rd match at least. Sometimes the game won't unfreeze again, which happened a lot less before. Yet i didn't find any issue which could cause it, seems more like some random thing.

But today i noticed something really interesting. I was in a group of like 5-6 at Terra Therma, piloting my Atlas. Just before we took down a Stalker, my game froze. I noticed that at least 3-4 teammates got the same issue at the exact same time (they were walking in circles). After asking them, they cornfirmed their freeze. So i think there might be some sort of server/runtime-issue rather than a computer-related issue like driver-problems that causes those freezes (at least sometimes).

1082x1084, dx9, all settings on lowest, glow disabled, force v-sync, no change since last patch, not running 3rd person view.

I got kicked from a match today and found myself back in the front-end with the mech still in game instantly upon entering the match (got the team overview and discoed right away without doing anything).

crashes are more likely to happen on caustic
and game crashes often from mgun spam or streak spam

I've crashed like 5 o' 6 times, no error message.

Frozen screen is really often to me (at least 1 per day when playing).

I have to restart my computer every time the game freezes (or at least close session).
I play on medium settings. (No shading... It's very crappy so I don't use it)

I found that a "rejoin match" feature isn't that useful, well, at least when you freeze/ctd in middle of a battle, you are good as dead (2 min to rejoin is hell too much, it takes only 6 secs at most to kill a defenseless mech). It would only be useful when you crash/freeze when you are at the beginning of the match.

I've noticed a lot of instability in the latest patch. Everything from the screen lockup (alt-tabbing fixes this, usually) to full on Crash-to-Mechlab and beyond. The strangest thing is that for some reason whenever one of my roommates quits a match at any time, everyone else on our connection is forcibly crashed to mechlab regardless of whether or not we're in the same group.

It's like closed beta all over again!

Main issues with this release:

Freezing with Sound looping (most common. Approx 5% of games). No recovery possible - End Task from Task Manager.
Sound stuttering with temporary (~3 secs) freeze (less common approx 2% of games - sometimes before above).

Win 7 64bit

After leaving a game and loading the lobby I had a crash with an error:

" *** Memory allocation for 3868905216 bytes failed **** "

(funny that the asterixes at either side were uneven =] )

The lobby loads but none functional nor displaying any of my data.

didnt change settings: [all low except particles textures and effects high]
rig: Core i5, ATI 4850 5oo mb, 8GB ram
