If you want to look at your pretty paint, go to the training grounds and take all the screenshots you want.
Games versus other players should be 1st person only. Always.

Says the guy that literally has no idea what he's talking about.
unfortunately, I wasn't logged when I read this, otherwise it wouldn't have appeared.
now my eagle eyed friend, explain how could reflected light bend in your direction, as in over the hill towards you, allowing you to see the drone from the player that's on higher ground. of course it doesn't.
also, nobody is going to sit behind a building waiting for you to notice his drone. he's going to take it out, scout for a sec, bring it back in.
I know trolls always think in the simplest of manners because it's easier for them to attack someone's argument then, but you take the cake for being simple.

What graphics card do you have, them be crisp shots!
It's a Hybrid.....GT 545, 1.5gigs of RAM. The rub is the DDR3, but the upside is a 192 bit bus. Paid $88 about a year and a half ago. Runs a tad hot, so IF you delve, get nVidia Inspector, pump up fan speed for game a bit, and those are High Settings, with vSync ON, and Shadows set to lowest. Mine is by Zotac.
Had one issue about 3-4 mos in, and that was their poor heat paste job. 4 micro phillips screws, and the HS pops off, clean thoroughly with alcohol, repaste, gtg.

Disclaimer; I am not a pro player and I don't consider myself a good sniper, I'm much better with DPS weapons like the AC5/AC2, lasers, etc. In this video I am not posting it to demonstrate or brag about skill. Anyone who wants to call that into question can sit on something sharp as this is not the point.

No ray-trace errors to be found, just good old-fashioned abuse. Took less than 2 minutes on each map to do this btw.

Does anyone there have FRAPS and a will to show some more nonsense you can do with the drone?
Here's the plan. Try to find 4 man groups on your team who are obviously working together. Follow them. As soon as they start doing something sneaky, pop out your 3PV drone, and start jump jetting up and down behind them.
Now the enemy is going to see where they are because you have a bobbing blinky red beacon of doom. Make sure you are BEHIND the four quality players using 1PV.
When the enemy team comes to murder them, switch back to 1PV and run away.
Basically just grief and troll using the 3PV beacon and get it on Youtube. Extra points if you add some clown music.

They can't see me on the map and the little drone makes it easy to tell they are vulnerable.
The delay in switching modes costs them precious seconds if they want to be able to keep up with my moving and turning too.

The delay does not affect turning/movement speeds, has not affected me personally. You can see in the video I posted some instances of switching back and forth in close combat.

This is very true, I am about 99% sure they did that delay to prevent in-game abuse by switching back and forth. Those seconds definitely count, that's why I don't switch to 3pv in the heat of battle, but just before the engagement while everybody is positioning? Hell yes.

So much for the "oh there is this one spot in river city where you have to stand atop the big building where everyone can see you and from a very certain angle... and only on mondays... there is this abusive possibility to see around something that you shouldn´t" - seeing is believing and the screenshots You did (+ the video) are proof enough that PGI´s latest move, to ignore and scare away many of their players, was their worst ever.
I can only hope that this week will really hurt in their pockets, so maybe we can have a hotfix next week, get our 1pv only mode and go back to business as usual.
