I have a TBT-3C already. Currently has 2xALRM15, 3xML, and a TAG, but I also like it for the option of a fast striker.
I'm planning to get a TBT-7M and build it like this, because it looks like a lot of fun.
What should I go for next? Right now I'm leaning towards the TBT-5N just to grind it out as an LRM boat and sell it (since there's no real difference between that and the 3C), but I would rather buy a mech that I can hold on to. Does anyone know of any fun builds to do with the 5J, 5N, or 7K?
Thanks.

I noticed the complete lack of responses... I am guilty of not responding. Here's a thread nine down from yours:
http://mwomercs.com/...ebuchet-builds/
It has builds for every trebuchet, if you only want a specific variant I suggest using CTRL-F (or whatever your internet browser's 'find' function is bound to) and looking for "7K" or "5J" or "5N".
I'm partial to the 7K, and started a thread about builds for it here: http://mwomercs.com/...e-trebuchet-7k/
Essentially every build from my 7K thread is already in the "Best of Trebuchet Builds" thread. I can't recommend enough that you check the link out. 6 pages may seem like a lot, but you can skim for the variants you like and ignore the rest, or read all of it and learn quite a bit about the Treb.

Since the 5N has essentially the same loadout as the Hunchie 4SP, I would lean towards you getting the 5J for the sake of jumpjets.
Balanced with a little firepower:

Or something a bit more bomber-like - don't stay in the fight with this one!

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll take a look. I'm mainly just looking for something to make the other trebs look appealing, but so far it looks like I'll be keeping just the 3C and 7M.

I do like the 5 arm mounted energy weapons, but my hesitation is that the 5J has too much on the right side. That first build looks rather appealing though. Thanks!

Well, i run the 7M near stock with the LRMs,
the 5J as a fast laserboat,
and the 7K as a sleek hunchback, with 2 Med lazors and an AK20.
so far the 7K and 7M work awesome, while my 5J just sucks
(it is getting better though, it definitely ran to hot in first configs)

You want the 5J because JJ are awesome. Also, 5 energy hard points is fun.
