for example: a st engine 150 has 6 heat sinks,so it requires 4 outer heat sinks to function.but if you buy double heat sinks upgrade then the 6 heat sinks in the engine become stronger.do you then stil need 4 double heat sinks on the outside?

You still need a minimum of 10 even if they are doubles
This is because engines under a certain weight have less tons than they SHOULD to account for the weight of the minimum heatsinks. (This is masked by the fact our engine weight is including the gyro)
Some builds in theory only need 6 heatsinks but because of the weight discrepancy this would be cheating by four tons
