What does ST stand for, I'm not understanding what you meant. And all of your points are very valid, but we both know many if not most of the Mechs in Battletech violate all kinds of common sense logic as far as how they are structured.

OK, so ignoring engineering concerns (probably a good idea) Do we prefer it with more unity in theme, aesthetically (aka slimmer lower ST to blend into the lower body design better) or to use Muppet Engineering?

I'm a purist, so anything that looks as close as possible to the original art is what I shoot for. Some of the old art obviously sucks and needs a face lift, but keeping the essence of the original concept is what I aim for in my redo's.

Naw, a TRUE purist would embrace and defend the suck that was most of the original Btech art.


(or draw a line in the sand and say only was Unseens should ever be seen is if they are the original ones, but I digress)

I just ordered this print from Dave Seeley who did some of the Battletech card games.
I like his version of the Exterminator.
