As I look around I see a lot of serious players and merc corps, which is awesome for the future of the game but unfortunately is making it hard to find a group to play with.

I am an adult, I have a full time job and am married, I can't commit to putting major time in, but I want an organized group to play with.

Any casual clans out there?

Wraith579,
In answer to your question, yes, there are casual groups ("clans") out there. The Equal Opportunity Destroyers is one such group, and we are currently recruiting. We don't ask much of our members, simply that they A) not be jerks, ;) be respectful, and C) have fun. I'll PM you shortly with more info, and you can decide if you'd like to join us. =)

I'm actually very interested in this purpose,i know im not the best mechwarrior around but i like to team play, because lances are important to this game, if don't coordinate with your team you're fu####, even mercs go in lances, it's one of the pilars of the battletech universe, at least for me.

by the way I usually go with the CTFs (mostly) and heavys like the DRGs, with 20 to 35 damage points. medium to long range type, now im on a ctf-1x with dual ERPPC's and a gauss rifle

Thanks for your time.

Hey Wraith, (And Tabris too!)

While not technically a "clan" or even a Merc Corp, the Lone Wolfs are really casual, yet do have some good players. We're all happy to help try and learn, and the only requirement is to have thick skin for the sense of humor that some of us have. =) We have no rules beyond "no drama", and if you're interested in becoming part of a more organized group, there are Lances that have formed that do have set practice times and such as well. There's no committment, so stop on by and check out or webpage, register, jump on TS, and if it's not the right fight, no harm no foul. =)

(link in sig because I can't ever remember it offhand. I'm getting too old. haha)

Hail Warriors,

Clan Hell's Horses is looking for pilots,we are laid back as far as Clans go. As Clan Hell's Horses believes in Man before Machine. I am currently trying to put together stars(Lances) so that people can meet other people and get to know them. Some of us like to Roleplay also and as I tell everyone I try to recruit, you level of activity is up to you. I understand not everyone is like me and can be on all the time but we have people of different time zones so there is usually someone on.
I am also willing to drop with anyone ,in my clan or not. Though when the Clans actually come into play,I do expect people to listen to directions. Other then that I am too old to pay for Drama and I am a firm believer in Real Life Comes First. So if this all sounds good to anyone, please check out our post in the Clan Forums or @ hellshorses.guildlaunch.com Or you can simply send me a in game friend invite, though until they actually find a way to allow us to change out pilots name I am Mezlo Mezzerak.
