[Silversynch]

I had to reinstall after moving to a new computer. But the Patcher- fresh and new from the installer- only loads it's most basic graphics before crashing. What I mean is the fancy frame loads, but there are white squares where website link images would be. Then Windows reports it has stopped working and closes the program.

Any help?

This is likely a antivirus problem, make sure you have it disabled during the install.

also try right clicking on the patch installer and choosing "run as administrator"

----let me know if that helps, i am also curious if there is any messages generated in the "system" or "application" log in your windows event viewer(mech warrior releated), if so post them here.

side note - sometimes it can be hard to know if its related, try running the installer and refreshing during the error to see if anything new appears. time stamps are the easy way to know if they match the time of the failed install.
