Atlas Weapons Change

Just curious why the Atlas appearance doesn't change based on the weapons I have on it, like 3x Ac2 or 1x Ac20.

dev's need to update the older models iirc, to do this. no eta yet afaik.

Its on the books but they have more important stuff to do first.

At least they upgraded the Catapult K2's side torso ballistic mounts, sort of (shows one sort of barrel for autocannons, another for gauss, but they vanish when you put machine guns in).

Still curious what that little canister is under the Atlas' gun barrel. Could be a bagel dispenser.

Actually, they just shrink down and move forwards, the MG mounts don't disappear entirely.

This doesn`t really suprise me at all... machine gun is a piddlyass .5 ton weapon and "real" ballistics start at 6 tons. And with the CoF of the MG it`s about as accurate as it should be with no barrel B) :D

I think that's the space for a second weapon. If you load 2 UAC/5's you would see both guns. If the ever get around to it.

They need to fix the model and the Founder one too.

But they're leaving the Atlas alone because any attention will bring the masses to the king of all mechs. And you can't have that. So let them languish. Continue to nerf them by giving them terrible weapon load points, moving ECM to side torsos, engineering the advanced tech like endo and ferro so you can only take one if that, and so on.

But seriously, when they redo the model they NEED to fix it so the damn paint goes on more than 1/3 the mech. Even as it is when you paint it 66% of the damn mech stays black and sooty.
