Hey Shillogy, this game is DoA.
At least have the grace to accept that.
Funny, for being so DoA, I've been enjoying it. I think they have done a lot of justice compared to the older games I use to play of MW, though I still do enjoy the older games. It plays more realistically than MW2 (space jump anyone?), more smoothly than MW3 (JUMP DARN IT! JUMP!), and customizes better and doesn't have death bomb mechs like MW4 (No, don't bearhug me! I want to make a pre-existing variant. Oops, hard point limitations prevent me form making a common variant). Is it perfect? Nope. But I'll take it as it is and see where it goes.
So, sorry if I don't accept you proclaiming that MWO is dead. It'd be like believing that the sky is really falling every time someone says it is.
(People said the Spider was DoA as well, and I still saw, and see, them being played despite this proclamation of death.)

Thing is, four months isn't a lot of time to be playing this game. Not to mention, those of us who has been here for a while know, any new feature seems to always comes with it's own flavor of bugs that need to be dealt with. Heck, any video gamer of any online game knows that new stuff tends to have some kind of bug in it.
I've been here since sometime in December. I don't consider myself a new pup, but I'm no old dog either. So far, I've taken the good with the bad and just keep on playing when I feel like playing. Its still fun for me, even if I can't get on as much as I once did (new job, more hours... stuff like that).
PS: I think all he was saying was, being such a new member himself, that the person leaving doesn't have good gear to ask to have because it's probably stuff he already owns. Now if it was a founder leaving," can you gift your founder's mech to me then?"
So far, I have seen so many people say that this game is dead and gone. Still here. Been hearing posts like these (on how dead MWO is) for over half a year. If it's dead, than it must be undead by this point. Think people are just overreacting... again.... I mean, a lot of people have been saying WoW is dead, and they still continue. I think most of you are just waiting for CW. That's when we shall see how "dead" this game is.

3PV changed NOTHING! Tell me how the game changed when it came into play? 3PV is more of a hinderance than a cheat imo. My guess is that OP and the like are a bunch of preteens who are used to get what they want from their parents (you think this is bad? Can't wait untill you find out how politics work and how politicians screws you over a thousandfold). The people I play with are having fun and nobody seems to mind the 3PV in any match. The only thing I hear during playing is how to turn it off (be it via F4 or permanenty via options). 12v12 was a cool change, the game keeps running smoother, there are almost no disconnects and we keep getting content (even though it's slower then expected *CW*) and balance patches (ok some changes are kinda strange SRM@2dmg SSRM@2.5DMG). For the rest like communication, yes there is more to improve on when it comes to that, but the game isn't broken/doa, or it's the best broken/doa game I ever played.
I may not have a Founders package but I did get into closed beta (played it regularly) and I have payed for MC.
Goodbye to all who are leaving, can I have your login info (gear)? (yes, a original line!)
PS: Posting a 420p movie medio 2013.. wut? Way to set an example for PGI on what quality should be.

3PV serves for the case when you are in the cockpit and you wanna fart, press f4 and problem solved feel the breeze on your face.

Ah yes, Kong. probably the #1 reason why IGP prodded PGI to stop listening to the community after they flooded these forums with hate and vitrol day one of open beta and ever since.
It would behoove you to note, that they are still playing this game and talking about it openly. As silly as it is.
Also, I wonder what colorful term they will come up with for the Backers of Starcitizen when they do not agree with Kong's vision of the game as well? Not saying the recent outcry is not warrented, but I have seen enough to know that if they do not like something others enjoy, they will make your life hell.
