it's a known issue that cents don't reg ****, but you haven't seen it all till you try SRMs on em.

It's also known issue that for unknown reason from time to time AC-20, and SRM 18 damage isn't being registered.
Now Imagine how I feel piloting ATLAS, putting all that in to Victor's face (or whatever random mech it could be) and observing that I didn't even scratch their Armor... ((((

Every single ****ing game I see these scrubs running around, cored to the max, no arms and they STILL keep on going.

I just got smashed as a Highlander by a centurion. Must have landed about 15 UAC5 shots and at least 4-6 burst of ERLL when he was cored and he still didnt go down.

Most OP mech in the game by a coutry mile.

You are a terrible highlander pilot.

Seems LEG it.
Btw the so called medium buffs are pretty inadequate. Torso twist speed and vertical range is okay, but what turning speed and accel/decel buffs are what is really needed, and engine limits increased, maybe more speed per engine rating. And some hardpoint rework. Until then the unique Cent is the only somewhat durable medium.

I wish my Centurion ''suffered'' from this flaw. The arm seems to fall of when someone bumps it, then it dies plenty easily.

It's funny how it's not so zombie from the other side of the cockpit glass.

Yes,this is what you should always do to centurions. The torsos may absorb absurd levels of damage but the legs seem to accuratley register damage.

They most certainly are even from a pilot perspective.

The way to fully exploit this quirk is use a standard engine and rotate to absorb hits on your sides.Hits seem to registier more accuratley from directly in front and become less reliable as the damage is applied towards the sides.

It almost seems like a blown off limb is still soaking hits.

Everybody should know by now to shoot a CN9's legs. They are incredibly easy to hit and exceptionally vulnerable, with the added bonus of most players putting their ammo in the legs.

I honestly have no trouble hitting the CT on a cent. With perfect convergence and low ping it's very easy.

A CN9 with its SMRs shot off is very durable... but also not that much of a threat. Deal with the rest of its team and then leg it.

Dies in a 1v1 with an assault, and even tells us about it like its not his fault?

Ok, I've seen it all.

OP has to be a troll. There's no way someone is complaining about Mediums yet. Especially a Centurion.

Sweep the leg.

The centurion is completely killed by leg shots and damn are those easy to hit, it's not like it can ridge hump to keep its legs concealed. Non issue.

I cant believe u are crying out loud for a med been OP. Shoot the legs damnit!! Easyest way to kill a cent is taking one leg and then go for center torso or the other leg.

Centurions are not OP, ppl is just stupid.

I 1v1 assaults in my Cents all the time... is this really so unheard of?

Either Cents are OP, I'm amazing, or my opponents are scrub trash?

Just because you pilot an assault doesn't mean you're impervious to every lower weight mech.

Aren't you the same guy that whined about light mechs beating your assault a few months ago?

You're doing something wrong. :)

I clear 400 damage and 3 kills with my 9A in PUG games everytime. Sure, the arms come off early, usually within 5 minutes give or take depending on map size........but that means someone has been POUNDING on me and wasting their armor and driving up heat. And I still have no loss to combat efficiency.

Nothing like running up to a Jager or a Cat, both my arms gone, pouring smoke......pound them, run and dance, pound again, and then run off leaving their smoldering corpse smoking on the battlefield.

Ah......beautiful. :P

Assaults are NOT invincible, they can easily be killed by a smaller mech once pilot skill is factored in. Speed is life on the battlefield and the ability to outmaneuver and stay out of sight and reach of a big lumbering assault is key to piloting a light and medium mech. Your big powerful weapons are useless if I move fast enough to avoid your fire zone and can dodge the rounds when I am in it.

Drive a Cent, you'll get some amazing insights into how to deal with them when you are in your assault. Usually it involves calling for help LMAO

It's why I pilot everything, from Spiders to Atlases. Great perspective.
