Hsr Doesn't Really Work For 250Ms ?

Many thanks to MeatWagon on helping me getting this down.

The show starts at 4 min 26 secs when Meat Wagon starts to spectate me.

Left is my view and right is Meat Wagon's view.
As you can see when the enemy mech is moving you can obviously see that I am not shooting where I see myself shooting.
The spectator sees me shoot way behind the intended target.
Just goes to show how much it sucks for people with high ping. Posted Image

Is the spectator view closer to what the server sees ?

Makes you wonder.. Based on damage done.. It seems yes.

I am in Singapore so, your ping should slightly worst than mine like my other Australian mechwarrior buddies.

This was recorded this evening.
Here we get to see more of HSR working as 'intended'.

Mech of choice this match is the Jenner with 3 Medium Pulse Lasers. Specifically picked to show how great HSR is.

Here to get to see at least 3 alphas hitting the Death Knell, you can even hear the hits.. Too bad it does no damage.

  • 05min 44 sec - 09:33 - 69% - No damage taken from MPLS hits.
  • 05min 55 sec - 09:22 - 65% - No damage taken from MPLS hits.
  • 06min 10 sec - 09:07 - 64% - No damage taken from MPLS hits.


If you notice carefully the times I do hit him is when I lead the shots. Posted Image
