Is it normal for the GPU memory to be constantly counting up? Even when looking off map and standing still my GPU memory continues to climb until it maxes out. Starts out between 500-800 (depending on map) and continues to climb from there... Is this a memory leak or normal?

Not every texture is loaded into vmem at the start. This is how pretty much every game behaves.

Even when not moving looking at a wall with all other mechs behind me and nothing targeted? and it happens over several minutes until the card is maxed?

Does it release all the memory after the match or does it only release some? There was a memory leak bug in closed beta that slowly over several matches filled the vmem till you had to restart client to clear it. Have you tried the MWO REPAIR TOOL? Loading more meshs into vmem while playing is normal. Also it would have the memory on my hd6770 1GB about filled while playing, it only uses about 1.5gb of my new 2GB card(560ti boost).
