I too am a Bushwacker fan. Looking at a few models now of the bushwacker. If MWO does re-introduce the Bushwacker later down the line I hope they create something along the lines of the MW3/4 artwork and not the TRO artwork. The TRO is very weak and not what most folks consider invision when the name Bushwacker is invoked.

I feel like the Bushwacker is WAY more popular with MechWarrior players than with BattleTech players.

I played Table Top a bit and I found that the Bushwacker to be a good mech if used right. Like any mech it has it's good points and bad points. But it was enjoyable to use. I think the real interest is just that it is not the normal humanoid style mech, kind of like how people would probably want to play in a Tarantula when it comes out.

Sorry that not's going to be possible.

The heaviest mech you can make to get a 5/8 machine is 80 tonnes. You could probably do it with an awesome (it should have enough energy hard points) which is just as funny in it's own way.

Pretty sure that's the way they made the Charger in the first place, actually. So, shortpainter, there you go.

Always liked the Bushwacker in MW3. Not as much in MW4, though, since in 3 I generally stripped it down and put AC/10s and large lasers on it, and I couldn't do that anymore with the hardpoint loadouts.

3053 or thereabouts according to sarna, so 4 years from now.

So in 4 years time this game gets Bushwacker, is that enough to keep us interest in playing after 4 years? I don't think so, they will lose money by not offering it in the store within the first 2, 3 years maximum.

Except they're going to have tons of new 'Mechs to release besides this one. By that time, I can pretty much guarantee that MW4 will have become a fading memory anyway. Seriously, they could literally put out 100 'Mechs in MWO for 3049 and still have plenty more to do.

I think I read the devs said mechs with the tech available in 3049 could make it in despite being build after 3049 so maybe the Bushwacker still have a chance? I was thinking it might be available sometime around when the Clans arrives in the game.

The whole thing about the development of the Whacker is that the scientists coulndt figure out how to do the engine in a long thin torso until they got their hands on a Clan Mad Dog
