Tournament Rules:
1. All Teams can compete that either have a win/loss – ratio worse then 1:1 and have less then 400 Mechs. (At end of the registration period.)
2. A match is won if one of the teams has won 2 (out of 3) games through kills, capturing the enemy base or collecting 750 resources. (Ingame win.)
3. Attacker and Defender in a Match are going to be determined randomly by the Tournament Administration (Result of a coin-toss function) in the Group-phase.
4. Per Team there can be only one Mech of a certain Variant. (Only one HBK-4H, only one ASD-7D, etc.)
5. The competing Teams will find a compromise for the game modes prior to starting a match (assault or conquest). If no compromise can be found the Defender will choose game modes for Games 1 and 3 and the attacker will choose the game mode for game 2.
6. The first game of each match will be in fully modified mechs, without a tonnage limit. After the first drop is played the loser of the first drop chooses the ”modification rules” for the second drop. Modification Rules can either be a class limit (X lights, Y mediums, Z heavies and 12 –X –Y –Z assault mechs), a tonnage limit or no limit. The second drop will be fully modified mechs as well. If a third drop is needed it will happen in Trial Mechs with 3 Trials of each Variant on each team. Rule 4 does not apply for the third game. Trialmechs can not carry modules
7. If a team is not able to report 3-3-3-3 for the third game because it does not have the necessary mechs any more they will report the next, if possible higher, adjacent weight class. (Example A: Team A has only 6 mediums, 4 heavies, 4 assaults left. After a loss they will report 6 mediums, 3 heavies, 3 assaults destroyed. Example B: Team B has 3 lights, 4 mediums, 5 heavies, 1 assault left. After a loss Team B reports 3 lights, 3 mediums, 5 heavies and 1 assault as destroyed.)
8. All Modules that are in the game are allowed without restrictions in games 1 and 2.
9. In the playoff-games (after group phase) the higher placed team from the group phase will be defender. (1st place group A will be defender against 2nd place group . In the playoff-games of round 2 or higher the Tournament Administration will determine Attackers and Defenders through Coin-toss.
10. In the group-phase every group will consist of 4 teams. Each team will have 4 sectors on the planet Solaris VII. Each team will have 108 mechs spawned for them (27 lights, 27 mediums, 27 heavies and 27 assaults). After the end of the group-phase each team will receive 12 new mechs per round they advance. (3l-3m-3h-3a). If a unit runs out of mechs to use they will be filled up to 3l-3m-3h-3a.
11. Each team can only use mechs that were spawned on Solaris VII. You can not buy Mechs there. For the duration of the Tournament you can not move Jumpships (and Dropships) to Solaris VII.
12. Salveage rules will be same as in normal ISW-League fights.
13. All Spawned Mechs (that survive the tournament) will be fully usable after the Tournament. Your surviving mechs will be moved to a planet of your chosing (you own) ONCE after the tournament is over.
14. The places in the group-phase will be determined by matches won. If matches won does not determine a unique first and second place the next metric will be won games (2-0 will count as 3-0 here). If this does not provide results the next metric will be amount of mechs remaining (regardless of weight class).
15. The amount of playoff-games after group phase will be related to the amount of participating teams (and groups). They will be announced after conclusion of the group-phase.
