This is frustrating. I like to get a few pugs in whenever I can with the mouse and keyboard and fired MWO up after the last patch update. Now when I drop, the torso twist guides extreme left and extreme up OR down. I haven't reinstalled yet, that's my next move. Anyone else having this issue? I'm using a bluetooth keyboard and a Cyborg RAT9, never had a problem until the last few days.
Not a fan of 3pv, but that's a community issue that will be resolved for mech sim purists, a hidden camera that another mech can't see, target, and knock out the sky makes no sense at all. Seems a modifier to have the camera avoid incoming fire based on a digital dice roll would keep it active or not. I heard on NGNG someone making a statement that 3pv is all about making the game more "fun". I don't think a hefty percentage of us MW fans who actually avoided console variations over the last 15 years due to control simplification geared toward accomodating 8 frickin buttons and a nintendo era control pad play for "fun" as much as we do for the satisfaction of blowing a mech's legs off due to the planning/strategy/piloting needed in a more "suitable" manner...Then again I come from an era where we played GC rules (3pv not allowed) with Netmech /Mercnet (All hail NAIS) on Kali servers in the mid to late 90's. You had to lead shots dam near 3-4 mechs and pray your 33.6/56K connection didn't {Scrap} out...I'm just sayin. Send a USB quarter slot and xbox controller for the arcade players, I'm pretty sure they've spent enough MC already, they deserve it.

Maybe try unplugging any joystick or gamepad you might have plugged in.

Had time today to troubleshoot, found it. I had the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup w/ Saitek Combat rudder pedals. I broke the whole contraption down and put it into storage until I get more free time to build a cockpit chair that can easily double as a regular studio workspace chair with an easy modification (ACAD problems), I forgot to unplug the pedals. Actually, they were never mapped to any torso functions and have been plugged up still for over a month, so it's a bit confusing. As soon as I unplugged them, the torso twist problem is gone and everything is smooth sailing. I checked the options panel in MWO, still no torso twist functions mapped to the pedals...weird. I uninstalled and reinstalled MWO before I came to the USB pedal conclusion and it was still doing the same thing after a registry/system clean and fresh install. I will plug them back in later to do more research and try and pinpoint the exact issue with the USB pedals being hooked up. I will post my findings here when I do. Thanks for the hint Ironwithin, it was a logical conclusion for someone to initially try out, but without your reminder, I would not have thought about the pedals again as they fold up out of sight in a compartment in my custom built desk yet remain plugged in even when not in use.

Have had the same issue with my Saitek X52 joystick/throttle/pedals plugged in, and yeah, solution was to unplug them when not in use.
