Upon finishing my Dragon (http://mwomercs.com/...ego-dragon-ldd/) and submitting it to Cuusoo, I intended to create a smaller and more affordable design of one of my favourite 'mechs from MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries.

After debating between the Uziel and the Hellhound for my favourite all time 'mechs, I have sided with the second! I'll be following the artwork from the MW4 game below:

And here's what I'm up to so far.

It's just a tiny project so it should be over in a jiffy. Any input or criticisms from you guys is very much welcome, as without which in my last project I don't think I would've accomplished my mission. So please be aware, nothing is set in stone, and it'll be undergoing constant alteration to the entire 'mech.

Any feedback is appreciated!

I've just now written a comment on the Dragon post in regards to this, and thank you!

What are your plans for future projects if you finish the Hellhound? ( I like the MW4 Design from the Hellhound)

From September onwards I'm gonna be an extremely busy guy, so I'm just squeezing out some last little bits of fun before I go.

The Hellhound is going to be my last project for a while, although in time I'll definitely want to attempt some other 'mechs!

Haven't been so sure on what the paint scheme is going to be, but I guess the grey tones with bits of bright orange look alright for an urban scheme.

And I don't know how, but I managed to shove a minifigure in there.

I started off with the feet to try and restrict myself to a smaller model, but with the current body side it's got now I think I'm gonna just enlarge them to fit. Thanks for drawing it to my attention!

Updated the feet, but I'm getting rather stressed over the barrel shoulders. Going to attempt to rectify this in the next few hours. I refuse to surrender!

If you've got any niggles or quibbles with it so far please do say. The more the better!

A game I've had since its release in 2002 and I still enjoy playing it now.

Struggled to find the pieces to create a fitting conical cylinder-shaped design for the shoulders, but I tried my best:

Update:

As you can see directly above, the back is horrendously bland. Going to have to go into MW4 and take some screenshots of the rear. Unlike my previous model, this is going a lot quicker, which is due to the size I have selected for the time limit I have given myself.

I'll try make a start on the arms tomorrow, and everything should be finished by Saturday.

If you can see any problems or minor faults with it so far please say. Any input is valuable!

Any ideas for colour schemes are welcome too.

Still unsure of the colour, but here's a green version.

Green is not really my color, but hey the shape looks great ;) I still think the legs are a bit too thin, but maybe thats just my nooby knowledge, so keep it up!

Yeah since then I've beefed the legs up a smidge, but I'm really trying to keep the legs how they are and to reduce the size of anything that doesn't match it, so if there are any areas of the design that seem to big just say!

And yeah, my favourite colour is green, but it sure isn't the Hellhound's. Going for a Black, grey, white and orange schem; like the previous one but a lot better. Using black lines to slim up that upper torso :)
