After a few matches of fitting a BAP & Sensor Range Module, I noticed I wasn't really targetting anybody farther than 800m away. Loaded testing grounds with BAP solo, Sensor Range Module solo, and both together.... max targetting range is 800m.
I believe the ranges are supposed to be:
BAP (25%) = 1000m
Sensor Range Module (15% / 25%) - 920m / 1000m
Both (40% / 50%) = 1120m / 1200m
Anybody else getting this bug?

The range increase for those modules have been bugged forever and apparently, fixing them is nowhere near the top of PGI's priority list.

Test it in live, not testing grounds.

They've been bugged for as long as they've existed, or at least since the start of Open Beta(when I started).

Works fine on live matches. Modules are disabled in testing grounds. I have run both for quite some time and can detect enemies up to 1200m away so long as ecm is not in play.

Can confirm that. Modules (and Efficiencies) do not work in Training Grounds.
BAP+Sensor Module work fine in live matches. Often had the "problem" of locking on to targets for my LRMs that are waaaaay out of range for the missiles.

It's sometimes hard to target enemy mechs because of partial cover/ECM not allowing a lock although you can clearly see it (the cover-thing is most noticable on turmaline with those weird rockformations that block shots too).
