If the spread is consistant(aka no reliance on an RNG) then you can still hit where you aim for. It just removes the ability put every single shot onto a single point which would make this game MUCH better balance wise and allow PGI much more room for balancing and mechanics.
Anyways, the price of this is having such arbitrary systems implemented to 'balance' high alpha damage.
I'm sorry but the ghost heat system is asinine as hell. It serves a purpose though.. a purpose that is much better served by addressing the real problem.
