So, I love the Atlas RS. You put two energy weapons of a kind in an arm, and when you fire it FEELS like you are actually hitting someone with a PPC/Laser, because the two shots come from the same spot and negate the half damage in MWO.

I'm wondering if any other mechs replicate that effect? Because I really love the feeling.

And yes, I like the double beam. It's kinda sneaky in that unless someone has a lock on you, they probably aren't realizing they are being hit for twice the damage.

Yep! I just got the mech and it is GREAT! But the crotch beam can only take medium lasers at max. I have a pair of larges and/or PPCs in the side torso ones.
