You would think that in the 30th century, the sensors on a battle mech would be able to sense targets behind them (a'la 360 target retention module but as standard not an expensive module)...

Also, tell me who out there playing MWO has never been shot in the back by a sneaky mech and you have no idea where that shot came from?

I'm suggesting an enhancement or a simple/cheap module that can be purchased which would allow a 90 degree view behind the mech and shows up in a small sub window like the advanced zoom does but at the bottom or side of the screen. This sort of technology is very simple and we already have it in cars these days. Why not a 30th century battlemech? How about it PGI?

This came standard in your neural helmet hud with mechs, along with siesmic, thermal, magnetic anamoly detection. But in its infinite wisdom PGI decided to opt out most of these, along with other tech. To make MWO its own and remake 30+ years of lore and game balance.
