Oh, so anyone who disagrees with you is a troll, and anyone who gets mad about false advertising is a crybaby? Ad hominem attacks usually mean you've got nothing else.

Nope. But the reality is this - money talks, and ******** walks.

PGI is either making more money now (hence 3PV, etc adjustments), or they are the dumbest company in the world by ignoring the majority on these forums when it comes to 1PV, weapons balance, etc.

To hear the savemwo crowd, they all act as if this game is dead or dying.

And yet, end of the day, PGI is still here, whenever I log in I get drops & people to game with, and the people I game with have almost 0 complaints about 3PV nor do they care, and most spend all their time in 1PV. They simply find the drama on these forums amusing.

So, to synopsize - spend money or dont. if your not happy, dont spend money. PGI makes decisions based on what will make money - and rightfully so, because with no money there is no mech game.

So you might cry about "anyone disagreeing with me is a troll", but that is not my point.

My point is that if the opinions of the savemwo crowd and the 1PV or I'm leaving crowds really had something to stand on, PGI would bring the game back to 1PV only and change balance accordingly, because that would bring in the money.

As it is, PGI is either about to bankrupt the game by ignoring these players, or they made the right decision and these decisions will lead to great future success for the game.

Beyond this, all is speculation at this time.

the crying is amazing here.
no one uses 3pv.. a non issue it seems. matches are by and large COMPLETELY FINE!!!!!
great matches
weapons are for the most,part
fine.
I have fun every single night, as a lone wolf. NO TS, no tricked up mechs. balanced loadouts with enough ammo since inception, not boating anything and I do Juuuuuuust fine.
12 v12 has improved the game immmmmmmennnnnsely .. If youre good enough to survive to the later stages of the match.
I know there are PLENTY of people who agree with me because they are part of the epic 12v12 combat every night.

there are no more..
raven girls running around.
ssrm girls running around.
steam rolling 8 mans.
cap warrior online.
and most of the annoying garbage that has been around in various forms since cb..
Yes we now how the latest douche spider pilots.. but as a REAL spider pilot from day one, I hunt them down and kill them first.

Hopefully they get clan warfare right, and CELEBRATE the groups that play the game as thats the lifeblood and the draw of the universe.
Everyone should KNOW when clan x has entered the fray with battleflags etc flying.

Stop crying and learn how to have fun.. If you cant have fun with this game its a failure of imagination on your part.

I read similar posts on the DC Universe forums back when it was P2P. How did that go?

Jee I don't know. Never played DC Universe. Why don't you tell us? Did DC universe fail horribly? Does that mean MWO will fail horribly? Is this what you are suggesting? That PGI is intentionally or even worse unintentionally making such bad business decisions that the game will fail?

Well, just the phrase "back when it was P2P" should give you an idea. Funnily, the game has improved since it nearly died and went F2P, but it still nearly died and was forced F2P.

And yeah, let's just say that I don't automatically assume that the devs made the right decision when they stick by it. Sometimes, it means they won't admit they were wrong.
