I'm just wondering if there is any interest in a CG style comic about some people at an office that play MWO instead of getting their work done.

I posted quick proof of concept to nag the everquit crowed:

Anything in the future would have more polish, be easier to read, etc. I did this on a lark and realized I could make a series out of it with legit characters. Note that the people will always be a bit rough (as I suck at organic modeling and like the idea of more basic characters).

What do you think? Ye or Nay? Heck, it could even be the people writing the MWO Android App. Wouldn't that just be weird circle?

Which is completely irrelevant to the thread.

But what is relevant is that 3PV does nothing to help players. It does however harm them, for a multitude of reasons. Specifically, you can't see your legs in a majority of mechs, it removes HUD elements that have to do with orientation (such as the minimap and compass IIRC), ontop of forced arm lock. None of these things help new players. If they do, I'm open to explanation as to how exactly.

Perhaps a tutorial, detaling the nuances of mech movement and combat, maybe with an AI instructor you follow around. Like every mechwarrior game before this one had.

Clan mechs are also going to be at least 2x if not 3x as expensive both C-BILL wise and MC wise. Clan tech will also ruin this game's balance far more than anything PGI can manage to do.

lol, you guys :). I ask if I should make a comic with that one as an EXAMPLE and you're debating 3PV as if it has anything to do with the thread. Look at the title if you need an idea about how off base this is.

Seriously, learn how to change gears.

well, one of them is liking his own posts. I tend to not be able to take ANYTHING seriously from people that do that. It's pretty funny how they can't separate the content of your strip from the actual issues it's mocking or making light of.

wait... wasn't that a prototype comic? and ... wasn't the comic about 3pv? and the players' angst toward PGI for it?
