Hi there brave Mechwarriors.
My buddies and me have another question, it`s about the jamming rate ofthe ultra ac 5:
What is the chance of an ultra ac 5 jamming? Can i decrease that chance by fireing the ultra ac 5 in single shots?
As always: we thank you for your answer in advance.
Good luck to you if we meet on the battlefield.

The jamming rate is 15% since the last patch, before it was 25%.
The uac5 wont jam if you don't use the double shot.

"Not using the double shot" means firing less than every 1.1 seconds by the way.

If you use an AC2 and UAC5 together in chain fire it will automatically fire every 1.1 seconds never jam and give you a stream of rounds... pretty fun.

Without using the 'full auto' of just holding down the fire all button, this relatively simple chain fire pattern worked rather well, allowing me to rapidly fire my twin AC/2s and fire the UAC/5s without jamming.
Now, when I press "fire all" aka alpha strike, they'd jam pretty bad.

Don't really be bothered with the jamming mechanic... You will DPS more if you double shot all the time..
With UAC5s - you should worry more about having enough ammo
