Hey guys!

I've been wanting to play Mechwarrior Online for the first time, but i have an issue.

Whenever I Click "Play" at the launcher, my launcher minimizes and does nothing, whenever i click on it it shows "Please Wait". I've waited a lot but nothing seems to happen.

I've reinstalled a few times now, but it doesnt seem to work. Also i've checked for updates on my video card and other hardware.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I know there was an issue similar to this like 6 months ago that was able to be resolved by launching MWO in administrator mode. I thought they had fixed that though.

Still worth a shot, right click the patcher icon and click "run as administrator" or whatever that is that it says.

There are several things we can try. you need direct x 9, .net framework 3.5, and something else 'm forgetting,. I'll find the links

For starters, run the shortcut "as administrator" which you can do by right-clicking on it, or by modifying the shortcut.

Second, you need to ensure you have direct x 9c, .net framework, etc.

Try installing the following:
DirectX http://www.microsoft...ails.aspx?id=35
Visual C++ http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5555
.NET http://www.microsoft...ails.aspx?id=22

People report being able to reinstall Avast afterwards... just saying.
