As I wait patiently for my Phoenix Mechs to be delivered I wonder if this really is it for the Battlemaster. I wonder if we could ever have a Prince Davion Battlemaster Hero Mech. I understand that the whole unseen/reseen is an issue but would it be possible? What would it take to have this happen? Would you like to have a Hanse Davion - Hero Mech?

You'll see a Battlemaster Hero certainly. We'll have the first Battlemaster's in game Oct 15th; cbill versions available for purchase in January.

Errr, ok, clearly I didn't read your OP well enough. Anyways, yeah, you'll certainly see Battlemaster hero mechs - the Phoenix Pack mechs are not hero mechs, despite their cbill bonus.

You will see Hero mechs for each of those chassis, I garauntee it.

I'm not sure how long we'd have to wait for a Battlemaster Hero, considering the devs have stated that the Founders Atlas, Catapult, Hunchback, and Jenner are basically considered hero versions of those chassis. I assume the Project Phoenix mechs will also be considered heroes. Of course the devs have stated that they'll eventually get around to making heroes for the Founders, but they said that would be after all other chassis get hero mechs... which considering they're making hero mechs and mech chassis at a 1:1 pace... I don't see how they could possibly catch up, especially when they go to a two mech a month schedule.

I keep seeing this but no one can never point to when it was said. The only thing i have read my self on the subject was that they were not at a priority as mech that was getting the hero treatment... Not that the founders were the hero versions.

The guy who set up his marriage with a 16 year old girl (actual marriage didn't happen till her 18th birthday or so), after arrangements to get hooked up with her mother didn't work out...sure there's a hero He was in his mid 40s at that time...

It'll be grat seeing hundreds of Hanse Davions running arround.

I have nothing against a Hero Battlemaster eventually, but I'd rather that it not be Hanse Davion. Maybe call it "Prince of the Battlefield" or something, but the exact Hanse Davion would be stupid IMO.

Does 500% against Cataphracts and Ravens, ignores Raven ECM, and doesn't gain heat...That sounds like Hanse Davion.

I could live with a Hero called the Fox. Just not the actual name "Hanse Davion" Seeing two on a team (my own or opposing, or in the same match would really be ridiculous.

"The Fox" lets the Davion wannabes have their fun, everyone knows what that is, but doesn't have the stupidity of an actual name used over and over.
