I have liked every remake of the classic 'Mechs until I saw the Wolverine. The ball turret and cockpit look hideous. It's a shame too because the Wolverine has always been one of my favorite mediums. I would like to see it reworked but I doubt that will happen. Sorry but to me it just looks fugly like someone gave up on how to alter it and settled.

As for the Griffin it looks AMAZING. It is every bit as good and close to the original as it should be. Well done!

They look awesome and the Griffin alone (damned my mostplayes mech is a Treb with an ERPPC and a LRM15 inspired by the Griffin)would have made me happy to pay any price but in the current state of the game and looking at recent developments it is a sad but definite: not gonna happen.

The art department is top notch! I love everything you guys have done.

I have to say though this deal does send me into a rage. I did overlord. Even though I though it was way to pricy for pixels I had to have both the Locust and the Battlemaster. One of the things I said was I wished the medium was the Wolverine.

But an extra $30 for pixels, I want them I do. Make them half that and I'll still feel like its pricy, but more doable.
Also everbody just shelling out cash. I bet there will be a light, heavy, assult pack in a few weeks.

The mechs look nice but 30 dollars more and no premium time? No cockpit items? Really? In what sense of the word is this a "deal"? It should be 30 dollars for those who HAVE NOT purchased any pheonix stuff at all, then discunted 5 dollars more at each respective tier of pheonix purchase. 25 dollars for tier 1, 20 for tier 2, 15 for tier 3, and 10 bucks for overlord owners.

All the qqing about 3pv puzzles me though, no one even uses it. Its just eye candy and its nice to look at your mech then go back to the cockpit when its time to get serious. I think the devs actually did a good job handicapping you in 3pv to decentivize people from using it all the time. The blinky camera gives you away from 2500 m depending on settings, force arm lock, no camera control, its actually harder to use than 1pv. I'd far rather have separate queus for 8v 8 and 12 v 12 than for 1pv and 3pv.

Look im a fan of mechwarrior and all but HECK no...if anything toss one or two of those badboys into some of the lower phoenix packages. I already have overlord, (and i only really wanted the flipping battlemaster) I aint forking over another 30 bucks. Greed less please. You get no more money from me until The Widowmaker, and whatever hero madcat and Madcat II's make the scene.

Tho I might just wait for the normal ones due to already having the Overlord package, bring out more Heavies and I might get something else.

How much time you given us on this one?..I noticed it will be delivered in mid December.

I'm probably going to hold off buying the upgrade right around release for the package. Just want to see what they say about the game between now and then, assuming this deal is still around. I've already purchased the Overlord package last month. The Griffin looks amazing.

$30 for 6 mechs and mech bays (plus the bonuses that come with them)? No brainer!

I wondered when we would see the Griffins? How could you show the insides of the palace on Tharkad without Griffins? The mech is too lore-heavy to not be in the game.

As this game is shifting in weight balances, good medium mechs will be a premium on the battlefield. Add to that the fact that these are old school, tabletop classics, and it is an undeniable dream come true.

I remember the days when I could not buy the lead (then pewter) miniatures for less than $5 a piece. I figure I will be spending a lot more time with these than my minis anyway.

Just saw they are both Mediums. Buying, but am skeptical. Especially since the Wolverine looks like it's the size of a large Heavy. Also, even more Pheonix mechs=awesome and these new designs are sweet, but if Community Warfare/the sizes are wonky, it's going to be a waste of money.
