Yep. I'm done. I've been a founder since last July/August and had high hopes for this game. Now? Sigh. That's all I can do. I'm tired of this game now.

I'll still check the forums once in a while. When they "launch" and "go live" I'll probably log in to see how things changed. Hopefully they put in community warfare by that time. Which I doubt.

I paid for Legendary status in the hopes that this game would be the sim that I've been looking for. I was patient. I never said anything bad about PGI. I know that they have to make money... I accepted the fact that cool shot was coming when they introduced it. I'm even not that pissed about third person view, but even I have noticed how it's changed the gameplay. However, I'm not leaving because of that.

I'm leaving, for the time being, because the game is stagnant. There's not even a lobby. You would think that would be the first thing a company would do when making a multiplayer game so that people could make their own matches. If they did that much, I'd be climbing a league ladder right now.


But all we have is basically a deathmatch game. Very little strategy is involved. I don't even care when I drop anymore, I just go and find an opponent and kill one to three of them in a match and start the process all over again.

There's no forward progression. New mechs and new maps wont' hold a person's interest for very long. I hope when the game goes "live", this changes, but I highly doubt it.

Bugs I can deal with. Hit detection problems I can deal with. But there are so many problems that I'm not going to even bother listing here because there are enough topics out there covering those (Not that you would read them, PGI, and if you do, it's not like you'd communicate about anything).

Eh. I hope things get better.

If there isn't any community warfare going into the game at launch, then all I can say is that I hope the game is much better when I get back from Japan in three years.

Or even better, a new company with a new mech game that's a lot better than the pile of steaming stew we have right now.

There, I said it. My first jab at PGI. You failed your founders. Especially the patient ones. You failed at making anything more than a call of duty style death match with robots. I'm glad all you got out of me for the past year has been my initial fee to become a Legendary Founder. Don't bother putting me on your credits list because I don't want to be associated with this game if it continues along on the path it's going.

Hope everyone currently playing enjoys themselves. I'll be back if there are any significant improvements. Until then, I'm bored and tired of waiting. Have fun.
