What do you think the people of the Inner Sphere have on their Televisions? I doubt it would be reruns of Friends or Darkwing Duck for the Kids. I imagine they'd still have something like Family Feud, along with documentaries and musicals. I also imagine a religious channel that's broadcast for that realm's primary religion. What do you guys think? Also, why not post your ideas of what YOU think would be broadcast like the following:
Solaris VII: Because this is the most popular thing ever
All about Monty: A blue-collar 'Mech technician with his loving wife and all their exploits on New Avalon. Think of the show The King of Queens.
PHANTOM MENACE: A show dedicated to tracking down the ghosts of historical battle grounds from all over the Inner Sphere, to see if the dead really have come back to haunt the Inner Sphere!
The Walking Dead: Self explanatory only it involves all of the Capellan Region.
The Super Heroic Mega Hero 'Mech Squad: A cartoon of Battlemechs ranging from Atlasi, Jagers, Vindicators, Vulcans and a female, hot-headed Firestarter. Meant for kids and Teenagers.
Star Truck: Think Star Trek but with a gigantic Truck. Shown in the Draconis Combine
The last man on Kentares: A man struggling to survive during and after the massacre of Kentares IV with his daughter and Wife. View mostly by men and women in their early twenties to mid thirties.

I wonder if the Book, like, paper back, is like some form of ancient, retro form of entertainment kept in meusums or something like that because they all have Space Notebooks and Space Macbooks.

I guess they would have holoprojection interfaces or handheld glass panels with retina control or touch screen. (like in Avatar)
And for the tv shows, I think human interaction dramas/sitcoms wont ever go out of style though so king of queens with topical/regional content seems like a sure bet :P

Greetings all,
Keep in mind that not all the areas of this universe are in a free democtatic enviroment. So what you see on what ever format may be only what the Goverment or Controlling powers want you to watch. After many years of wars and destruction the general population may not be that well off to have various "entertainment" devices. The affluent sector of society may have never lost their "toys" and information devices but these sources would not be trickled down to the other class's.
The majority of the Great Houses have societies that have class systems with the top tiers getting all the best "stuff", and information from off Planet is only received through "ComStar's" HPL channels. The 3050 time line is not the "Golden Years" for this universe.
Just some info to keep in mind.

Mmm. Thank you for the insight. I'd imagine those in the Liao section are set up like in North Korea: Everything is controlled, everything is monitored and all TV shows, movies or whatever, must revolve around their royal family.

Star Truck? Draconis Combine?? Really??
Any Star "Truck" would be more closely aligned with the Explorer Corps. And I am sure we can fit in a BSG analog somewhere.

This was the first thing I thought of. Also, in Mechcommander 2, you see a talk show that is relevant to the game, so there would still be the usual talking heads and probably state sponsored TV shows and the like.
