Hi,
I just started playing MWO yesterday and I'm having lots of fun except for the patches. For some reason every time I close the game app and reopen it I have to install another 2.3GB patch, this has happened 3/4 times now. If I don't allow the patch to download it says I have the wrong version, anyone have any idea why I'm experiencing this problem?
Thanks
RyanUNDEAD

Edit: I've just downloaded a 2.3GB patch and it's saying wrong version now I need to download another 8 patches to play.

I would disable firewalls or antivirus and try again, as well as run the patcher "as administrator".

I can play games fine once I've installed all the patches but it seems as though my game doesn't store the patches after I log out because I need to reinstall them. I'll give it a try running as admin to see if that helps the problem though. Thanks =]

Edit: I've tried running it with my firewall disabled and as admin and I still have to reinstall all the patches each time I start the game.

One of the things I discovered on my machine is that I had to reset my options every single time. I was curious what was going on, then I noticed the entire directory was set to Read-only. Which meant that it couldn't save it's settings. Try checking the install directory and making all items in it not read-only. See if that fixes your patch problem.
