First of before i get to meat of my post i should be honest and say I am not a huge fan of the direction PGI/IGP are taking this game. But i also want to state i am a huge fan of this IP I want this game to succeed i want to be playing a version of this game in several years looking back and laughing about how wrong we all were and how mistaken our distrust of the game Devs was.

With the game due to hit full launch status in the coming next few weeks i have been looking online to see what some of the game websites are saying, Sadly its mostly been very negative. Im going to use three examples although if you look you can find several more.

If reviews of the game carry on going like this it's going to severly damage the game to the point of possibly being DOA. I truly hope the devs pay attention to whats being said on gaming, sites and forums, and decide that they do need the good will of the community. and Decide to talk to us in an adult manner. and in return we can show our full support for what PGI are trying to achieve with this game.

I truly feel that the only way that this game is going to be the massive success i want it to be is if both sides come to realise they need each other and put old greviances to bed and decide to do whats in the best interests of the game.

Fumble recovery or more specifically 'project recovery' dont seem to be in the PGI / IGP playbook.

However, if they want to turn things around they have 2 weeks tops to do it and it would need to be a substantial change of heart and change of direction.

I wonder what would it take?

Or is it too late?

For me, it would only take an honest apology and the promise to return to the MWO that were promised so long ago. It doesn't have to be right now, since it's obvious that it would take some work to correct all the bad decisions they have taken in the last months, but if they would be willing to make "our" Mechwarrior, I'd be willing to spend money again and return to playing the game. Yes, after all those lies and bad decisions it would be quite blue-eyed by me and everyone else to follow them again, but I am willing to take that risk for the sake of BT and MW.

It's one of the top 25 games OF ALL TIME, according to some sources.

I think one of their first mistakes was channeling some of the early funds into MW:T.

It's too bad that MW:T (AKA Bizzaro MechWarrior) can't just... well...

Me no am MechWarrior. You am MechWarrior.

MW:O, save fanbase.

I think it's too late to turn back. I think they have decided to betray Founders in favor of the new players incoming, because otherwise I can't truly explain their latest so called "apologies" or the September Dev Update where we've been stated as a vocal minority.

I still have faith they'll read what's going on the press (since we are a minority in their own forums) and that 2 weeks away from the launch this won't do anything good for the future reviews of their product..

I wouldn't be surprised if the PGI moderators deleted this when they first spot it. Save it to a notepad and keep reposting it if and when the PGI Moderation Police intercept and destroy this Topic.
