I think I am misunderstanding you. Aren't there only two modes?

Terra Therma is a 'King of the Hill' - map. Center ring ist to capture and hold. Random places to start.....and here we go.
PS: Small mechs get less cap points than assault.

true though, farrrrrr too many modes, theres either capture the flag, or capture the flags. As we know battletech hinged on the capturing of these flags but it's just way too complicated changed up between 1 and 5 cap points.
Oh and the round time! jesus it's so long, I put the kettle on at the start of a round once and it dam near boiled by the time the round had done! In fact, one time on caustic the round went on for so very long I nearly saw pubs starting to get organised and work as a team.
Thankfully though we had no fast movers and an enemy light captured our base before things got too immersive and tactical.
