Massive fun.
Theres a million things i hate... < silence when mechs crash into each other?!?!?!?> but the combat at this point is imo, damn good.
12 v 12 has been a huge boon to the meta and surviving to the later stages or end of the battle now feels like you have actually
SURVIVED something.
ive never pug stomped, or min max, or cheese build or any of that {Scrap}, so now that the vast majority of its gone, my only problem is I seem to have a hard time getting around to all my mechs.

On the favorable side:
- I very much enjoy the matches I play (both now and before 3PV)
- I'm still enjoying messing around with mech configurations trying to make that 'perfect' build for each chassis (heck, that's probably 30% of my enjoyment)
- I'm looking forward to community warfare (it's one of the primary reasons I've been hanging on and continuing to purchase MC along the way).
On the down side:
- I'm disappointed in 3PV implementation. I'm not against it - I assumed it would show up someday. I just wish it were limited to the first X matches, or separate queues. I've read the post that says it offers no discernible advantage, but I have the suspicion that it actually does give an advantage and I'd rather have a level playing field. It could also be that I'm not as skilled as some players, so any perceived extra advantage someone else has is suspect. Yes I know I can turn 3PV on for me too, but I prefer a simulator experience.
- I'm disappointed in how slow I currently gain C-Bills. I feel like I have to play twice as often in order to gain them at a reasonable amount per day.
- The forums tend to be a downer. While I feel like I'm disappointed with the same things others are complaining about, I don't care for how acidic everyone is. After playing several matches I'll browse the forums and it kills the 'playing high' that I was on only moments before. I've considered ignoring the forums entirely, but I learn a lot about how things work from the forums so I feel obligated to read them. If there was an in-game wiki, or more info on the UI when you login, I'd probably skip the forums for a month or two. Maybe all the rage-quitters would be gone by then.

-The heat changes really toned down a lot of the high alhpa builds. Yay!
-Fewer poptarts. Wow!
-12v12 means I no longer feel obligated to pick my "best" 'mech or lose every game. Whoa!
-Weapons are currently the most balanced they've ever been. Jesus!
-Hit detection. Zowie!
-I haven't crashed in months. Whee!
I may not like that newest Black Sheep feature (boo!) and we may not have some of the supercool features like Community Warfare just yet (oh no!), but the game's in the best state it's ever been, and it keeps getting better. A couple minor annoyances are vastly overshadowed by the general positive direction of the game.
Also I've recently come back from a two month hiatus, so that helps too. Periodic breaks are important when enjoying one's favorite games!

That part of the game is gone now. I just cannot afford it any longer, not with this income. I´m just glad that i bought most of the available mechs when earnings weren´t nerfed, but since the nerf i haven´t bought a single new mech and i cancel a rebuild even if it costs just 400k c-bills.
The battles are less fun than a month ago, don´t get me wrong it´s not cause of the 12vs12 - i had several games where i shot half the enemy team, laughing and shouting and enjoying myself like a madman - but when it came to the rewards page the laughter immediately died and i went from

To me this just looks like a sinister plan to increase their real-money income. The less c-bills you earn, the sooner you might think about buying premium time or hero mechs with the income bonus and stuff like that. Isn´t that what you call "milking the cash cow"? I´m not a native speaker so i gotta ask...

I´d say the fun factor shrunk by around 70-80% alltogether. September 17th will be the day that decides my future with MWO. I fear i already know where it´s going, but hope dies last, right?

tetris isn't supposed to have community warfare, role warfare, electronic warfare and all manner of other features weve been promised though.
Is it fun? yes in short bursts, gets repetitive and boring VERY quickly is it AAA and worth all the hype and money that was thrown at it?
No way no how not by a long shot and the developers need to go under to stop themselves being a blight on the gaming industry

As for the game play, it's trash and getting worse every patch. PGI always picks the most convoluted approach to every problem, despite the suggestions from the player base. My hope at this point is that MWO dies and the IP is picked up by someone without their collective heads up their *****. Until then, I'll watch the slow motion train wreck....
