Here's the last brawling setup that I played before I switched over to the D-DC:
AS7-RS
Tons of heat sinks, tons of armor. Fire the lasers in pairs or in chain mode.
I ended up not upgrading the engine, because I decided to first elite the chassis instead.

I have 2 versions for my RS depending how I want too play. The first is a long range while the second is a pure brawler I'll start with the ranged.
4 LL , 1 Gauss , LRM 10, 18DHS , STD 300
--------------------------------------------------------
It dose run quiet hot but since the Gauss generates no heat that helps a lot, I usually fire the LL in pairs or chain fire if the situation requires it the LRM 10 which most people consider useless is more of a soften up target weapon or a something too force the enemy back its useful in that regard. Too contain the blast of the Gauss I found out packing the ammo in the same area of the Gauss actually acts as a fail safe and stops the explosion from hurting the rest of the mech it actually works but you need at least 3 tons too stop the blast. With this build I found getting 900 + damage in most matches.
Brawler. 1 SRM6 or 2 SSRM 2, LBX-AC 10 , 4 LPL. 16DHS , STD 300
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now this build most people will say heat wise you will blow up but if you chain fire you can dish out horrific damage at 600m and down wards. The 4 LPL in the arms strip enemy armor like there is no tomorrow once its down I use the LBX and SRM too crit the hell out of the mech, or I replace the SRM 6 with 2 SSRM 2 for if I want too deal with lights. I have yet too see a mech out gun this build in a one on one it literally tears them apart. However I have found myself too get carried away and shut down because of going over board with the LPL firing. I also have limited ammo so making every shot count is vital, I did have too cut off some armor too fit more heat sinks in but if you can control your firing this brawler will tear enemies apart.

After talking in another thread (and hitting 50,000,000 c-bills) I decided to pick up an RS. I started with quad LLs, which was ok, but lacking. I tried a variety of other builds, most of which ended up sucking. Then I came across this build.
What do people think?

I go 2 x LLas, 2 x MLas, AC20 with pretty well max engine and 18 double heatsinks. To see an atlas going that fast is scary.

Look like the build I use. Heat is no prob for me unless I am on Terra Therma (chain fire them and u have control over your heat). But then anyone with energy builds have probs on that map. I totally rip things to pieces when I get close. Stalkers just melt when they think they can just charge me ROFL.
BAP help with targeting the lights that get close to me. Cant tell you how many lights I have legged with my LBX and streaks.

The armor is different on my mech. I DO have rear armor, its not all on my front lol.
