Most of the players that trash talk me, at the end of the match, usually have less than 100 damage done XD

I'm not sure what entitles people to talk trash on other players who are actually better than they are, but meh, whatever it's all part of the game. I mean heck, even I have said things like "Man, you REALLY need to learn to aim better!" when spectating and getting frustrated with how a teammate is playing, but I don't say mean things to them in chat.... over VOIP, yeah... I admit it, I do say negative things about people, but not in chat where they can read it and get bitter or hurt feelings XD

I think its safe to say this is one of those legitimate "i got so mad i'm going to post about it and never play again" posts

Just say, "Elo says you play like a noob. Congrats." whenever they talk trash to you.

OP, you should ask yourself why you are getting worked up so much over internet robots?

If you have self-confidence beyond stompy robots, nothing they type should get you riled up..

You've received some primo advice here, OP. Yeah, I agree...there are the occasional arseclowns that make their appearance. But in the 500 or so drops I've taken part in (yes, I too am a newb) I've only seen maybe a dozen or so really patently offensive comments. I either simply ignore it or rejoinder with something simple like "real classy" and leave it at that.

Having said that, I do lament the fact that the in-game chat is rather archaic by today's game standards. I've heard rumors that a more robust chat may eventually make its way into the game...one that has scrolling history, proper tabs, channel selection, and should one choose to do so, filters to mute the offending douchebaggery.

Until such time, chalk such childish and churlish comments as coming from someone who has misgivings about their own place in the big picture and silently hope that someday they too will get their s*** together.
