This pretty much is the reason why it happened. Have a “best” weapon is bad for a game with dozens of weapons.
I almost wonder if you are being sarcastic… The PPC and PPC + Gauss were the most easy to use weapons in the game, which why they were such a problem. Anyone (and everyone) could just pack them on because they required so little skill.
Your own apparently.
Splitting the playerbase on weapon loadouts is actually a good thing for the health of the game. And the changes to the gauss and PPC are by no means the end of those weapons; they are still extremely effective in the right hands, they just won’t be standard issue on every mech.
Oh, thank you so much for your pointed insight and superiority. What would we do without you telling us what is the best setup in the game? Actually, the dual guass was better for making slap shots to the head.
I have no tears for the nerf. Let them do it. All I am saying is that it is a futile exercise to ruin two weapons and will only serve to make me find even more devistating high alpha builds.
You damn damage whiners have created a situation in this game where that only two builds are viable. Fast, low damage nut slappers and slow, heavy high damage gut punchers. Nothing in between works very well, even it they are fun to play. People like you are the cause of the current heat system, stupid weapon game mechanics, and gobs of assualt mechs lumbering all over the place. Then you want to say your in favor of balance. Bullshite.
