Look, I've been playing Battletech since the early '90s.. And with ghost heat and the new heat nerf for PPCs I'm lucky to break 300 DMG in a match w my Awesomes.
I spent MC on my Pretty Baby and 2 Awesomes because I used the Awesome in TT.

The new heat is TOO MUCH. DHS only dissipate 1.4. LL and ER LL do more DMG and less heat than TT. Same w Pulse.

PPCs and ERPPCs don't need to be super weapons, but my god...nerfing the whole damned Awesome the way it's meant to be built??
At least give the Awesome a no PPC ghost-heat perk or something. Otherwise I want my $ back.

I've chain-fired. I've stayed back in the distance. I've used all the coolant I could muster. And I just can't be an effective ASSAULT mech. I'm a freaking liability! I get a good 400-600 DMG on my Spider 5D while having a blast doing it.

Rolling an Awesome is more like a game of Survivor than a fun game of stompy robots.

And NO! I WILL NOT change my Awesomes to something other than 3 PPCs.

Also,

Think of a stock Awesome. Standard heat sinks. Who would ever design THAT w heat the way it is???
Some one take that engineer out back and put him out of our misery if that's the design w heat the way it is!
Lol

PGI, please help save the Awesome!
