I would recommend getting a seperate thread up on your Suggestion for in-game reports as a new website or in-game feature. This doesn't necessarily need to be framed as an either/or option.
Ya, it isn't like those types of frameworks have ever been used before <rolls eyes>
If I were to suggest anything, it would be to replace a twitter feed with a ticker tape feed that feeds off, for example, individual in-game achievements (e.g., "So-and-So has surpassed 350,000 XP!" or "Pronto currently holds the damage done @ 1161") or even just fluff, e.g. "Lyran Commonwealth military ranks second now, behind Mercenary Outlaws" or tidbits like "Five 12-man teams now in queue, two battles ongoing"
Such a news feed need not be entirely accurate, either, although it could be fed accurate information, at the nod of ComStar. This ain't rocket science.
