My previous thread got moved because it mentioned weapons so this one won't mention any by name just to be safe. But if you get confused by the weapon I am talking about, just look at the title.
So I have this weapon on my mech and two days ago I was averaging 250 damage a match, but in the last two days I am average 150 damage.
My initial assumption was that it was the weapon nerf that was causing the problems. I was asking the question "was a single 'weapon' Raven overpowered and in need of nerfing?" The general consensus was no but deal with it.
Ok. You are up to date with the previous thread.
So I go and play my other mechs tonight. They are all doing less damage than they used to too. In-fact all my friends are complaining in my ear that they don't seem to be doing any good lately either.
Could this ineffective fire be caused by the changes to the Host State Rewind (HSR)? Isn't HSR there to make it easier for high-latency players, not harder?
TL/DR:: Is anyone else having trouble since the patch, and could it be an issue with HSR?

Ppc Nerf Or Is It Hsr

Nope, same damage for me. PPC might be having issues with same damage because you no longer do any damage under 90m, but the damage otherwise is the same.

0 damage under 90m, slower projectile speed, higher heat.
Plenty of reasons to be less effective with PPPPCS.

This. If I had to guess I would say the OP if firing the weapon inside of 90m. Or is having to reduce his fire rate due to heat. Hit detection has been substantially improved for me since last patch. I even two shotted a fresh spider with PPC's last night.
