Hi there brave mechwarriors!
How much does armor weight? How many armor points do i get for 1 tonnage? Is the armor weight the same for different mech-chassis? What about Ferro-Fibrous?
Thanks in advance!
Good luck on the battlefield!

I think it is 16 points per ton. Yes, it is exactly the same for all mechs.
Ferror Fibrous basically allows you to save on tonnage by trading it for space. There is no reason to use it unless you already have Endo-Steel structure, because Endo steel does the same thing with much better gains. Most builds cannot mount both though it is possible.
Ferror-Fibrous armor in lore is lighter but offers the same protection. It is also bulkier which is why it takes up more space. In lore it is generally assumed that it simply allows you to use more armor, but in practice it is basically just another variant on Endosteel.
Remember that if you want to go back to "normal" armor afterwards, you will have to pay to go back as well.

actually it is 12% for Ferro Fibrous with an annoying formula...
Round Down((armor tons * 32) * 1.12) = Armor Points

16 points was table top. Mechwarrior Online doubled it to 32. Internal health PROBABLY remains the same ratio of armor-to-health, except for the cockpit. But anecdotal evidence sometimes contradicts this...
