I believe it would be a great module to get back to a base when badly damaged to repair and rearm.

I think the mech would have to be out of the fight for awhile but in exchange regain some armor or ammunition.

There could be a basic level and an advanced level for each.

I think these modules would prove very popular and perhaps provide a third objective.

Aye? Nay? Thoughts?

There have been many attempts to introduce Repair and Rearm including the one in this thread: http://mwomercs.com/...-patron-loader/ . Most attempts have fallen by the wayside, however I applaud you for trying again. What it does prove is that you are not alone.

So to your idea. How do you propose it would work? Is it a deployable repair unit? if so would it source material from fallen Mechs?

I don't believe I would try to be so ambitious as to suggest using fallen mechs as a parts supply, but something much more simple: The pilot qualifies for and purchases the capabilities for repair and for rearmament, then buys a consumable module. When heavily damaged or in danger of ammo depletion he attempts to withdraw from combat and reach a facility, probably at the cap but possibly elsewhere. When he arrives at the repair facility or ammo dump he activates the consumable which repairs his armor or replenishes his stock of ammunition to a greater or lesser degree depending on how 'advanced' his module is. The ammo dump and repair facility are then secondary objectives for the opfor to target, and also secondary points to defend. Ammo dumps and repair facilities could be team specific or universal: either would work and bot concepts have merit.
