This will sort the men out from the boys. Some of us have gone out and got camo painted onto our Mech's. What's the point, we all have a large triangle over our heads either in green ,blue or dark blue shouting out here I am! I would like to see a game mode where this is removed and you had to rely on spotting a Mech identifying it friend or foe looking out for house colours etc. Only then locking the targeting computer on it. This game might have to be extended to 20 or 25 mins, but what a game, X-rated mode and "yes" you shoot your own team mate you lose 10,000.

Interesting, it would require a hell of situational awareness and coordination.

Aaaand yes i already tried that since there was a bug in closed beta who just did that.

I renember one time when I got the Black screen bug, last year, when I dropped...

I stayed at home base and didn't move, then when my lance-mate died he flicked through the spectator screens to mine and talked me through the rest of the match... Thank god for Voip .

I was blind but not deaf and I also think I got a lucky kill with some SRMs. Teamwork for the win!

Now go try Blind mode for more LoLz!

I got that once too. River City -- Night or not didn't matter. I didn't have a lance mate though, but the targeting still work and the mini-map still work. So I stumbled over to the home base, and stayed there. Eventually an enemy came over and obliged by spitting himself on the crosshair... so I killed him. Still lost the match though.

I like the idea of as little hud as possible also. Some fof would be good though. Its a good looking game and I guess only going to get better so cant stand hud messing up my view.
