I play an AWS-9M as a Direct Fire Support Mech.
I constantly am expected to be leading the charge for some reason when in PuGs when I am supposed to be behind everyone shooting PPCs into the fight.

I think a good idea would be to either give us a Tag (not laser designator) of sorts that would appear on our Team and Lance menu's for designation of what our respective roles are.

They could either be assigned to us by build or you could let us choose them ourselves. This way we can get more information about eachothers mechs without having to type
"missile boat here" etc at the start of every game.

Examples:

Direct Fire Support - DFS (For gauss and PPC snipers)
Indirect Fire Support - IDS (For LRM centric mechs)
All Range Support - ARS (For mechs that may have a mix of SRMs/Lasers/Ranged Weapons)
Skirmisher - SKRM (Speed Hit and Run Mechs)
Brawler - BRWL (Self Explanatory)
Scout - SCT (Also Self Explanatory)

So when a teammate held Q and looked at my information, for example, they would see this

AntiCitizenJuan AWS-9M DFS 100%

Have it appear after our Mech Type when we hold down the Team Menu and have it listed to the left of our names in the Lance box.
