For the love of making matches a bit less dull.
I paid for my basics and really don't care about saving CBills. It's just that all this green is getting old and really really stale.

They are free, in the sense that you don't have to pay real money for them. Only stompy robot spacebucks

Every single f2p game that allows customization of colors allows for a couple free colors to create a preview of what it would look as if the player bought premium colors. It's the try and buy, tried and proven method, of marketing anything.
Nothing is currently creating an incentive for paying for real colors, absolutely nothing. The ingame earnings are so low you can't even afford a new mech regularly, let alone spend on colors if you don't have 1000+ games.

Don't use that word, Loadout is far better designed and developed than MWO.
Actually, they're far from free. You need 10 good games to pay for a color as a newbie. Now where would you be spending that money, the colors, or endo?

Actually i think that is a good suggestion.
Those 4 (?) Colors for free would be nice, so even complete newbies could make their mech THEIR mechs without spending a buck.
An those Millions C-Bills that i paid for those a HUGE while back? refund please!

If I had my way, since most mechs are purchased used, mechs would be given a random paintjob when purchased.
No free colors. If it's hideous, shell out some dough and make it pretty.

I think that all mechs should have faction paintjobs by default depending on the faction you picked.
You should be able to buy a complete unit paintjob for all your mechs IMO.
There's plenty to pick from for the devs:

That becomes too complicated and still requires the newbs to pay CBills/MC.
Point here is to just allow those 5(FIVE!) basic colors to end this monotony of greyish green.

There should be more colors (at least another 4, covering black, white, yellow, green, or whatever).
None of the colors have to be pretty.
