Is there anything left aside from the Flea and the phoenix/sabre mechs? just wondering whats coming out over the next few months since i'd assume the phoenix ones are in addition to reguarly released ones, which we have most of that 19 listed.

IMO the 8 phoenix mechs will be the regular mechs of the next eight months...

We're full up with mechs to be added to the game all the way to March of 2014.
October = 20 ton Locust
November = 55 ton Shadow Hawk
December = 65 ton Thunderbolt
January = 85 ton Battlemaster
February = 55 ton Griffon
March = 55 ton Wolverine
After that, who knows.
By the way, the Flea and the Locust are really pretty similar. In fact, one of the rumors is that the Flea was created to replace the Locust in the board game after they had to discontinue the Locust (and more) for the whole Unseen legal rights debacle.
That and the more recent rumor in MWO is that they cannot get the Flea (or any mech) to go faster than 150kph in this game due to a problem with lag and CryEngine-3. In the board game the Flea has MASC (Myomer Acceleration Signal Circuitry) which is a fancy way of saying it has a turbo boost and can dash up to 25% more speed until you freeze up your legs and cannot more until they relax back to normal (sort of like a charlie horse cramp, but for a mech). Since that makes CryEngine-3 cough up blood, they've had to shelve it for now until they can fix their software.
FYI, mechs don't use hydraulics. They move by having Myomers, which is a fancy way to say artificial muscles that contract when you put electricity through them.

hm I had hoped the phoenix package wasn't a replacement for regular mech updates.
hopefully people who bought phoenix packages wont run out of stuff to do/buy over the next 6 months.

Pretty sure it was announced the Phoenix stuff was in addition to the normal mechs of the next few months. We still have an unannounced Assault and an unannounced Light (in addition to the Flea) to round out the numbers since we've had the Quickdraw and Kintaro (previously unannounced Heavy and Medium) so far.

joke is, all phoenix mechs are fully done in october (or december for the last two). That means their mech makers are pretty much done next month with announced mechs. Which means they can build more than one mech a month. wich means... there's something coming in the end of march or pgi fires some people...

yeah I remember them stating sometime it takes their team about a month give or take to fully develop a mech, and since all the package ones are done we should expect a new one each month or so.
if the flea is the last of the announced, it means we have something cool to look forward to every other maint

They've said they are releasing two mechs a month the Phoenix mechs are not replacing regular mechs in the rotation, they just have not yet announced what they are probably because they are busy with the official release.
Of course that's from info given on an ngng podcast so if you don't listen to that you would likely not know.
