So I'm following my tossed together team, a lance of guys I don't know in front of me but all with the same faction tag. We approach a ridge and I watch them all slow and pop out the 3PV camera, look over the ridge, then go back to 1st person to advance over it.

So I tried it out a bit. Timing is a little tricky but it works. You can peek pver stuff without exposing yourself. As often as you want.

It may be true that for most games the 3PV is not an effective advatnage, but some gruops and players are finding ways to use it for advatanges that I doubt were intended.

Hey I'm sure you haven't been around for the last couple weeks but hit up the search feature. It's working as intended and most of the online community agrees with your analysis. We've had at least 20 threads on this exact issue.

Well,kinda. PGI thinks it's fine as is and provides no advantages.

Many players tend to disagree, but PGI is boss, right? And anyway, that's probably just a vocal minority and possible not even the target demographic for this game (anymore).

Don't forget that those who think it may in fact give an advantage probably are on an island.
